A number of changes have occurred on the site as of late, so it might be good for readers to take note. There are a number of feature changes which have been asked for, and I somehow found the time to write the necessary code.

Now, a printable version of any article is available. After the article ends, there will be a box below. Somewhere in the social bookmarks section, where you can save your favourite articles, there will be a bolded link to the printable version. Hopefully people will find some use for hard copy versions of the stuff I write.

Multiple categories were requested, and so I put them in, after a bit of wrangling on how to write the code. I've also significantly revamped the category interface to make it easier to browse the articles — check out the category links in the sidebar and you'll see what I mean.

Comments have been often requested, but I haven't gotten around to completing the commenting system till now. The comments are fully integrated with the forum, and anyone can write a comment — you just need to be signed in. All comments appear immediately on the site without any moderation required.

It occurs to me that the present commenting system may not be working ideally because you have to scroll all the way down to see the comments or make a new comment. Is this so? Do let me know — the "email the author" form is there for a reason.

I don't know why anyone might want to read a random article from this site, but writing this feature wasn't very hard, so I've put it in as well. If you're in the mood to read a random article, the link is at the bottom of the categories section in the sidebar.

I'm always receptive to suggestions for improving the site and adding new functionality. If you have any ideas or comments, please send them in. I will take some time to reply, generally, but rest assured that I read every comment that is sent in — even the spam (so that I can take note of the offending IP addresses and redirect the spammers to the Barisan Nasional website).

You totally need a comment section at your blog. A forum is not as visitor-friendly as the comment section.

I suppose...but comments are less structured, and don't allow for initiation of new threads by those other than the blogger. Running two discussion systems in parallel would be confusing and create something of a redundancy.
